Yep, they're out. They voted overwhelmingly to reject the contract offer from the BOE, and now they're out. Good luck HHTA!

Harrison Hills Teachers. We are behind you in Steubenville. You are a valuable asset to your district. You are an asset to those children and to the community. Be strong and fight for what is most certainly due.
We support Teachers!! You have the most important job in this country!!
Boards of Education in this area of Ohio seem to be avid financial supporters of a law firm by the name of Pepple and Waggoner (www. pepple-waggoner.com). They are firing their local Board attorneys and using this firm instead. Barnesville's Board used them to the end of EXTREME hard feelings that will never go away. Harrison's Board is now using them. Tactics are the same - twist the truth, intimidate the staff, misinform the public. I believe that districts around our area whose superintendents and boards choose to jump on the "Pepple and Waggoner wagon" will all end up with broken relationships, unnecessary strikes, and out of a lot of money in the process. However, it seems to be the "in" thing for Boards around here to do. DISGUSTING!
